Hi All,
We are having an event that has an option for a Single Ticket + a $XX vip package which is a merch bag. Limit of only 100 vip packages can be sold.
I want to use a promo code with a MOS switch and allocations, but realize that maybe for a order of 4 tickets, only one person in the group actually needs a VIP ticket, the other 3 can buy single tickets.
Has anyone had an event that has a VIP package, with a LIMIT? I don't see how pricing rules could work for this. Or is it maybe just manually monitored, if you have both a Single Full and VIP ticket price type available to everyone?
Thanks for any guidance,
Jessica
We are on TNEW V6
We sell parking reservations with our performances, which are necessarily under different inventory constraints and likely reservation numbers than the performances they are connected to. We use a separate performance to manage the parking reservations, then we add a message and link to the "Additional Cart Text" value in TNEW for the original performance that links to the parking reservation performance. It's not as slick as picking it out at the same time as the tickets, but does at least create a step-by-step flow for the customer to reserve both items. You could supplement the "Additional Cart Text" with a messaging rule.
Great idea. We've used that too. I'm excited to start using the add-on events in v16, which are a cleaner / clearer way of doing this.
Definitely!
