Infomaker formatting?

Try this:

ddd [shortdate] hh:mm AM/PM

So I'm trying to get infomaker to display a date field like this: Tue 9/21/2010 08:00PM

In the FORMAT area I put this: DDD MM/dd/yyyy hh:mm AM/PM

and below that IM is implying that this is the correct format to enter to get the date to display the way I want it to. But when I run the report, I'm still getting 9/21/2010 20:00:00.

Any suggestions?
