Insert attachment in perf details?

Hi,

Is functionality similar to Research-Documents available in Performance Details?  We need a solid way to store/access performance relevant documents (word and/or excel) and I'm not sure how best to accomplish.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Jeri

I would say just storing the path to the file.  Then when you display the list on the screen you just have an anchor tag to  the file location.  When you click on it it will open the file.  I have something sort of on the lines of this where we store for a constiuent an image path.  Then with in the same custom screenthere is a slide show preview of all the images for the constituent.  If you would like make I get a proof of concept up for you to try.  It would be an asp.net page.

We need users with access to perf details to see document/s (and contents) relating to that performance.  Which option would work best?

I forgot to add, that thereare two options for storing the file.  First would be the file is stored on the network and you are just saving the file path in tessitura.  This method would require each user to have access to the file location.  Second would be to store the file in the database.

It is not, but you can add custom screens to performance details.  You might be able to set up a custom screen that can do the same thing, though don’t quote me on that as I am not an expert on the technical back end pieces you would use to do it.  The Custom Tabs document may be of some general assistance.
