I have built a promo code and entered text in the TR_WEB_SOURCE_NO to be displayed on screen when the promo code is activated.
That message flashes on the screen briefly, but disappears.
What might make that happen? Is there anything that governs how long that message displays? (I've never run into this before.)
The promo code itself works - the discount is applied in the cart as usual.
The first screenshot (I was lucky enough to grab before the maroon block at the top disappeared) is what should be there; the second screenshot is after the message disappeared.

Have you tried it in different browsers?
Yes - both Chrome and Safari. And incognito window as well.
A little more investigation shows that the message disappears when the page goes from the first url here (after I paste the promo code url and it loads) to the second one:https://www.stanfordlivetickets.org/0/11217?promoApplied=truehttps://www.stanfordlivetickets.org/0/11217?z=0
This doesn't happen with promo codes I've created in the past - they stay on the first url. So, I'm not sure what might be triggering this url change.
Issue is solved. This event is GA. Evidently, there was something redirecting from SYOS to GA. Changed the url to stop that redirect. Not sure of the technical details (I"m a bit clueless there). Thanks for your thoughts though!
