v15.2.35 Full Load Errors

Hello there.  This is my first time being involved in a service pack update and I'm wondering if anyone else has had issues upgrading to v15.2.35.

Here is the short version, as short as I can make it, which you will see, is not very short.

We were getting analytics full load errors first.  We checked many things, based on TessNet's help and finally found the issue.  In v15.2.34 of Tessitura there is a new requirement that the Analytics Web Application Server has NodeJs version 14.x as well as .NET 6.x installed in order for the installation of this step to succeed.  Once these are installed on the server this step in Tessitura Installation Manager (TIM) should be re-attempted. We were not looking at the v15.2.34 requirements as we were jumping to v15.2.35.

We installed the required components and re-installed the analytics portion of the upgrade. We are no longer seeing the original error but now the Seats and Tickets cube will not process.  TessNet replied with the following, which we have now done, but the load is still going and it has been almost 5 hours.  Since this is my first upgrade, is this normal?  Is anyone else running into these issues upgrading to v15.2.35?

Sometimes building the cube directly can give us a little more information on why the job is failing.  Can you please try the following steps for your Seats and Tickets cube?

  1. Access the Sisense server console - C:\Program Files\Sisense\Prism\ServerConsole.exe
        1. Click the edit link to open cube

      1. ...and build it completely (not a schema build) in Elasticube Manager when it opens.

      1. Click on More Settings and change Log to FULL
      2. Does it build successfully or do you receive more info as to the error?
      3. If you don't have success with the above, review the .slog file for the cube in question:
        1. C:\ProgramData\Sisense\PrismServer\ElastiCubeProcessLogs\
        2. CTRL+F and search for "fail"
        3. Feel free to attach the .slog to this ticket for us to review
      4. Also, open the native Sisense login screen at:
        1. your-analytics-web-url + /app/account#/login
        1. Use your Analytics License credentials.
        2. Go to Admin >> Data Sources. Are the cubes successfully listed there?

I apologize for the length of this post.  But hopefully this might be helpful to others.

Thank you,

Jena Tunnell
