Hi,
I am wondering what activity we do on the application front end which populates the table T_MS_OFFICE_ITEM_LOG. I need this information urgently so any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
Harpreet
This table is populated by the Outlook Email Logging component of Tessitura, if it's installed. Briefly, this component logs emails to constituents via an Outlook add-in, and must be installed separately on each machine in order to log emails. I'll be happy to respond if you have further questions regarding this functionality.
We are about to try to install this add-in with outlook 2010 is there anything we should be aware of?
I am guessing it shouldn't matter if we are on XP or win7 correct?
Operating system shouldn't matter, though the add-in has not yet been tested with Outlook 2010. I'd be interested to hear how it works for you with that version. Please post your results. Thanks!
Actually nothing happened. The add-in did not appear after running the setup.

Apparently, Outlook 2010 increases security on COM add-ins. Have a look at the settings available in File/Options/Add-ins. If it's in the list, make sure it's enabled. That's shown here: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/office-outlook-2010-add-in-manager/.
Also, I found this TechNet article on the new security regarding COM add-ins:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc179108.aspx.
Hope this helps.
