Hi. We have about a year's worth of General Admission performances currently sitting on our "Maintain Production Elements" pages. They go back to when we first got Tessitura in July up to end of this coming April. The list is so long now that it is hard to keep track of. Is there a way of "hiding" those past dates without fully deleting the performances? We will need to go back and pull data or adjust certain things in those performances, but not often enough for them to sit visibly on the list for all eternity. I noticed that there is a check-box for "Active Only," but when I click it nothing changes. What do I have to change/edit so that when I do check that box it will only show the current and up to date performances?
I believe that "Active Only" hides production elements tied to inactive seasons. It sounds like those performances are probably all part of the same season, but if not you could inactivate the past season(s). Otherwise, I'm not aware of a way to only view future perfs, but that sounds like a nice addition to the Ideas board!
Yeah, these are all attached to the same season (FY23 General Admission). Once we create an FY24 General Admission Season, would I then be able to deactivate the 23 one? If that is the case I guess having a years worth isn't terrible. Definitely agree about the good idea though and will post it in the ideas section.
Once the last of those GA perfs has past, you could definitely inactive that season, assuming it's also not needed for anything else that should remain active. A year's worth might still be a lot to scroll through, so perhaps breaking them up into different Production Seasons could help? Maybe by month? I'm not sure if that would work with your structure, but just a thought!
Going by month might actually work. I will bring it up with my team! Thanks!
