Email order confirmations post-show

Has anyone used email order confirmations to contact patrons post-show, e.g. to send follow up emails thanking them for attending the performance?

  • We haven't but would like to this season... also for the purposes of encouraging participation on Facebook/Twitter/etc. I'd love to hear others' thoughts on this as well.

  • We send both Reminder Emails and Thankyou emails, have been doing this for a couple of seasons now. Were sending therse once a week manually through TMS using an exctraction, however, we are now in the process of automating these using WordFly.

    Reminders will then go out daily, the Thankyous we are sticking to sending out once a week on a Monday for anyone who attended the previous week. The Thankyous tend to have a survey, so we can continually measure all aspects of the customers experience from booking to attending the performance, and have had merchandise recommendations and are now looking at adding a performance recommendation (going for a simplish option first to make setting up easy, but will look to expand it once we can get our heads around how this can be done so is effective and not a complete nightmare to setup).
