Our PAC pays ASCAP and BMI for licensing for music annually, but from what I understand, we are not allowed to use Spotify to play pre show music, since Spotify doesn't offer commercial plans. We would need to use personal Spotify accounts to create playlists, which means it wouldn't be covered under our licensing agreements. We are looking for alternatives to use to create playlists and came across Soundtrack Your Brand (https://www.soundtrackyourbrand.com/). Does any other PAC/venue have experience with this or recommendations on how to play pre show music? We are concurrently looking through our ASCAP/BMI agreements, but they're over a decade old and don't seem to have much information in them in regard to this. Thanks!
