NSCAN admin access

We've had a lot of turnover in our organization in the last two years, and one of the casualties was the password for the admin settings on our NSCAN scanners - no one recalls the password and I can't get into the Admin menu to change any settings. Anyone know where/how to reset this password?

  • I'm in! Thank you! The next question is a setup question - I was getting an error saying "Event Not Authorized on Device" - now that I can access the Admin settings, I was able to add the Perf No to the Performances field under Application, and successfully scan - so, if I have to, I can go perf by perf adding them to the device.

    In my Tess system tables, the correct facility IDs are in my Facility Str field in in TR_NSCAN_PROFILES, and from what I can see in that documentation link above, that should have be sufficient to scan the event without having to do the extra step of filling in the Performances field in the app:

    "Facility Str– Entering a facility ID automatically updates the device with the performances in that facility for the current date. Multiple facility IDs can be entered separated by commas. Using this feature means devices will not need to be manually updated with new performances each day and is highly recommended. The ID of each facility is displayed in Facility Manager on the Facility tab."

    Any ideas for why the events aren't filling in automatically? My first thought was that it was because the event is on a future date, but I set Door Open/Close times for the event to make it useable today, and still got the error until I went into the device Admin settings and filled in the Perf No there.
