I am trying to set up a particular price type for an event that is only available for select zones. When I disable zones though, the TNEW display reallocates the colours that we use (zone 1 is usually red and zone 2 yellow but if I disable zone 1 then zone 2 now shows as red and yellow is now zone 3). Is there a fix for this? Or do I have to limit available zones with an allocation?
Hello Rachel! This is Kelsey with Tessitura Network Support. I can see from our records that you also created a Support ticket for this matter. We discovered that this is expected behavior and unfortunately there is no known workaround. The map simply assigns the colors that we have listed in the order of available zones. If you have any additional follow-up, questions, or concerns though, please let us know any time.
I wish, to be honest, that the option to keep colours connected to zones was an option. It would be a great deal simpler and less labour intensive to make certain price types available to select sections by disabling the unavailable ones but it makes the user experience confusing if the colours change. Allocations makes it possible but it's a lot more work.
