We are fixing our ticket designs, that currently use hard-coded facility fee numbers. We've found that using "Tot Price by PMap Cat-2" seems to pull the correct facility fee from T_Sli_Detail, however our facility fees in T_PMAP map to id "4" in tr_price_category.
I'm not sure where the "Cat-2" maps to id "4", or if I looking at this completely wrong.
Is this right way to pull the facility fee on a ticket?
I had a similar experience, and here is the answer I go when I opened a help ticket about it.
"The category in the design does not correspond to the price type category, but to the order the price maps are added to the price type. For example, you set up a price type with a category 1 and a category 3 price map. The ticket design prints the description and price for categories 1 and 3, the details don't print on the ticket for the price associated with the category 3 price map. But if my design includes elements for categories 1 and 2, then all of the details print. So I if you had a price type with 3 associated pmaps of different categories, you need to print the elements for categories 1, 2 and 3 (even though these do not match up the the categorie's ID from tr_price_category."But once I figured it out it does work very smoothly for printed facility fees that are part of the price of the ticket and have their own price map.
