Greetings:
I opened a Support Ticket for this and was told the only way would be to use a SQL statement and insert the values. Has anyone had a similar situation and happen to have a handy-dandy SQL code they wouldn't mind passing along?
Is there a way to add notes to a refund transaction? We had a large number of refunds a few months back and I want to add the check number and refund date to the transactions. We processed the refunds in bulk and kept a log of the check numbers in an Excel spreadsheet, but I would prefer if the refund check information were in one place and easily accessible in Tessitura. I see that Check No. and Refund Date are available fields in the Payment Details, but I don't seem to be able to double-click on the transaction and add these notes after the fact. Is there maybe a security feature I need to turn on before I am able to do this?
Note: The spreadsheet from our accountant does not have constituent ID numbers, so I would have to look up each individual to ensure the note was going to the correct profile anyway. Should I just do a CSI note for each of these 600+ constituents instead? Not an exciting thought, so I'm hoping someone might have a more efficient idea.
Thank you!
