My Boca printer suddenly stopped printing properly. The tickets are printing everything off center and the barcodes aren't printing. We had an event a few days ago and the printer was connected to a laptop; usually it's connected to a desktop computer in my office. I'm wondering if it's related to that because the problem happened after I reconnected it to my other computer. Not sure if it is an issue with the Boca itself, or something in Tess settings. It's been connected to the laptop only one other time, and this didn't happen. Any insight would be appreciated.
Check to make sure that the printer driver is set for "generic text" and not a Boca-specific driver. If you connect to Tessitura using Citrix, be sure to sign out, make changes to your printer driver settings, and then sign in again before you test.
It is set for generic text. I rebooted my computer too which unfortunately didn't solve it.
Bocas have a mind of their own. It’s unlikely you did anything. Depending on your model, I’d try “resetting” it by turning it off, holding down the test button and turning it on again, while holding the test button for 10 seconds or so. It’s fixed alignment issues for me before!
That did the trick. Thank you so much!
