2)I what the report to have the click option to get into the record as any of the standard reports ex:solicitation table report.
Kindly let me know if you have any suggestions ,any help would be highly appreciated
Hi
1. Check your margins on your Print Specifications tab within Infomaker. Also, go to Edit > Select All and make sure you don't have an empty fields that will extend outside your print area.
2. On the area you want to click into, add into the tag field of the properties ID_CONST(customer_no) for constituents, ID_ORDER(order_no) for orders and ID_CONTR(ref_no) for contributions.
Hope that helps
Siobhan
Hi Siobhan,
I am sorry I couldn't interpret as I am new to this.
1)I could not find printer specifications tab in infomaker.
2)Can you please where and how to add a tag field.
Thank you for your patience.
1., In Infomaker, ensure you have the Properties window showing - right click on the main window and select Properties from the menu if it's not showing. You should see the print specifications tab here.
2. Click on the customer_no field (or order_no or ref_no, whichever you want to click into) and then in the same Properties window, on the General tab, there is a Tag cell. It's here that you type ID_CONST etc.
Thanks
Thank you,I could figure out the tag part of the problem
Anne,
1. Make sure you can see the Properties pane in the report design window. Select ViewàProperties from the menu.
To see the print specifications, which will appear on the Properties pane, click anywhere on the layout view (the report layout) where there isn’t an object. The properties pane should switch to the Report Properties. Print Specifications should be one of the tabs in the Properties pane now.
2. This is also in the Properties pane. Click on the text object or column object you wish to add the TAG property. The Tag property is directly under the Name on the General tab.
Best of luck.

Thank you very much for your help.
I am able to tag the field and even make changes in the print specifications.
Still the problem persists ,showing every 3 rd page as blank when I run the report in tessitura.
Heya
I sometimes found that reports in Tessitura would do similar to what you are describing if I had a report where some details where out of the scope of the page size…? (i.e, too far to the right of the page).
I am not sure if you are having this problem exactly but the symptom sounds some-what similar.
If you have data items in Infomaker that are far to the right of the page – try bringing them in a bit and re-run to see if the problem goes away. If this does seem to be the problem – you should be able to change the page orientation to landscape if you have not done so already.
I could very well be way off the mark with this but thought I would let you know just in case J
Regards
Chris

Check out page 25 of the Custom Report Setup documentation, which contains a list of tips for avoiding blank pages in custom Infomaker reports:
