We currently have a fairly minimal level of integration between our TNEW site and our Wordpress-based main website. We will likely be doing a complete web refresh in a year or two, so we're probably not going to do major changes in our technology stack/code base right now. But there are a few little things (the most pressing related to easy signup/preference management for e-mail lists) that we'd like to develop API solutions for, ideally using code that is congruent with our existing bias toward Wordpress/PHP.
We don't have a ton of experience with this, and we're also pretty flat out. So we'd love to contract this out to to someone. Question:
1. Within the network of ecosystem partners, are there any web agencies that will take on small jobs like this at a reasonable cost (as opposed to only wanting to do complete redesigns or charging excessive overhead on small projects - can you tell we've occasionally been burned before?)
and/or
2. Can anyone recommend any smaller scale developers (solo or side hustle?) who might have the expertise with Tess and PHP to take on this sort of thing?
