Field Length - CSI Action notes

Hello,

I have looked through the CSI documentation and the T_DEFAULTS document looking for a way to extend the notes field to hold more than 255 characters in the CSI, Action notes.

Is this something that can be done?

Thanks!

  • Hi Becci,

Did you find an answer to this? I have the same question.

    Thanks

  • Hi Dale -

That's one of those hard-coded things in Tessitura. Not only would you have to change standard SQL table structure, but you'd have to adjust client power builder things as well to make the limit larger.

Sorry that's not the answer you were looking for!

  • Hi Heather,

    Thanks for the reply.

I had a good hunch that this is the reply I would get. It’s a pity there is such a limit on the field length.

    Many thanks

    Kind regards
