Today is my last day at SLSO and even with hours left in my tenure I have to ask you guys for help, lol. So, I have a report that has a sub-report in it, and I told the sub-report to get two of its parameters from the parameters of the main report and one from the main data set:
Why do I keep getting this error? Why is it not passing the parameter?:
Even if I am not here to get your answer, I am sure the next person who has this role would appreciate some help.

I figured it out!! Dang - this was a combination of a rookie mistake, moving to fast, and franticly trying to wrap things up before I go.
