Azure Hosted Tessitura SSO Question

The San Francisco Opera recently migrated its Tessitura environment from on-prem to Azure Hosted Azure Active-Directory Domain Services and its working great. Our next step is to move our 250+ Windows10 desktops to Microsoft's Device Management AAD (Intune) solution. Our problem is now that the clients are no longer authenticating using SSO. I won't go into the details but our Azure contractors say that the Intune desktops are connecting to the Tessitura SQL and that the user name is being recognized but the password isn't being recognized.

Questions:

Is anyone using Azure or AWS hosted Tessitura and using SSO?

Is there Tessitura documentation about how SSO works are what authentication protocols are used (OATH tokens)?

Thanks,

Steven Long

  • Steven,

We have also moved our entire Tessitura environment into Azure.  We're also running Windows Virtual Desktop and publishing the Tessitura client app in Remote Desktop for client access.  We're just now working on setting up access to physical ticket printers via the Remote App sessions and running into a few issues.  If anyone else is doing this successfully we'd love to hear about your experiences.

Regarding SSO: We decided to implement WITHOUT SSO to eliminate one more security variable.  We plan to look at implementing in test once the dust settles from our move to Azure (we went live last week).  I'll post our progress to this thread.
