Very Strange DBA Poll

For what it's worth the database ships with no index on that column. Not sure why it would exist (twice?) in your database.

Yeah: Brian Pedaci somehow zeroed in on this while researching extreme blocking happening on our system  (Thanks Brian!).  If I had to guess I would say that having two was the issue.  Unfortunately, there's nothing in the way of an audit trail on indexes, so we have no idea when they were created, or by whom.  I'm idly guessing that one of our third-party integrators did it, but I have no clear evidence.  That said, issues started appearing mid-morning yesterday, although they weren't crippling until this morning.  Either it was a change then, or perhaps it was only now catching up with us.
