Hi,
I am the new DBA at Ticketing Network East Midlands (UK), we are currently testing & building the Tessitura Environment at our consortium (comprising of four organisations).
I am currently working on setting up the user security and looking for any similar organisation who has already implemented this and can provide us with a copy of their Security-Group Matrix template.
Regards,
Naga.
Naga,
There are two kinds of security to implement, built in functionality like who has access to the constituent module and one you build yourself like who has access to certain price types and MOS.
I will email you what we have for both.
Naomi
Hi Naga,
We are at the beginning of looking at this, it’s very complicated! I will email you with the spreadsheet that we are currently using, hopefully it will help.

Another spreadsheet has come in from one of our implementation specialists. I will email it to you.

Looks like I am a month late to this conversation, but one of our consortium organizations is planing on re-vamping its user groups. Would it be possile to get a copy of the spreadsheet mentioned earlier?
Or, if its not in any way proprietary, could it be posted to the website somewhere?
Hi everyone,
We are a fairly new Tess user (since June) and I'm still trying to wrap my head around all the security. I've started building my own spreadsheet from scratch but would love to get one of the above mention matrix sheets to use as a guide. Also, is there a way to export all our current security object, system table and report settings to a spreadsheet? Thanks.
Gene
Hi Folks,
I have added the security grids to my profile, please keep in mind these are living documents but you get the idea. As I have said there is two types of security; object security and functional security. Object security is permissions you give to MOS, Hold Codes, Reports, etc. Functional Security is permissions you assign to functional areas in Tessitura, who can change addresses and so on.
If you have any questions please let me know.
