Hello, Tess World!
My consortium is in the midst of moving from our Legacy RAMP environment to AWS, and I'm wondering if anyone can share their experiences or general best practices with moving from one environment to the other. I led the technical side of the same project a few years ago when my consortium moved from our self-hosted environment to RAMP, so I do have experience here. The key difference, for purposes of this discussion, is that I won't have access to the Legacy environment once we cut over to AWS.
My question isn't specific to RAMP or Tessi environments; I'm looking more for the back-end perspective of information you either wish you had grabbed or are really glad you did grab before you moved over. As an example, because the SQL Server is configured a little differently in AWS, I'm going to take screenshots of SQL Agent job history in case I need to compare processing times. (I'm not worried about backing up files or the database since I know RAMP will take care of this, so I'm thinking more along the lines of what information can I only see in the Legacy environment that won't make it over to AWS.)
Thanks, everyone!
