Scheduling Software: Artifax, ArtsVision, EventBooking or Ungerboeck?

I'm honestly not sure if this is the right forum topic, but anyway:

We are trying to find a new scheduling software for our organization, and the Tessitura page here lists the ones I've asked about in the subject line. Has anyone used any of the following and do you have any recommendation/tips? From what I gather, Artifax is the only one that is fully integrated with Tessitura. Is that everyone else's experience?

  • Artifax
  • ArtsVision
  • EventBooking
  • Ungerboeck

  • Hi Robert,  we just went through this same search about two years ago.  I have a great comparison spreadsheet of what our Must Haves and what was offered with VenueOps Ungerboeck and Artifax I would be willing to share. Some features may have changed since then but it is a good document to use for you to compare each as you demo them. We looked at ArtVision as well but dropped that one off our list early.  We ended up with Artifax and love it.

  • Oh awesome--that would be great! Some of my colleagues were saying they had worked with ArtVision in the past. Do you happen to remember why it was dropped so early?

If you have the comparison spreadsheet on hand you can email it to bayne@irishartscenter.org

    Thanks again for your help!

  • Hi Robert, I will email you that spreadsheet in a minute.  We also had colleagues who used ArtVision and liked it very.  We just needed a monster of a system and it was not going to be able to accommodate all the needs we had.   As Nichole said, Artifax does integrate with Tessitura but that was not a priority for us.  We have not installed the integration and just use it as a standalone for now.
