Front of House integration - till software with Tessitura?

Hi all, 

Apologies if this isn't the best forum to post in! I am looking into whether we can integrate our Front of House tills with Tessitura to provide an app that customers can use to order drinks and tickets at the same time, in this COVID world where standing at a crowded bar isn't ideal. 

I really wanted to see what other venues are using or considering doing the same thing? We have TNEW so could have options for drinks/snacks etc set up as items in Tessitura and sell them that way, however this wouldn't link to our current till system. Basically looking for fully connected/integrated solution if possible.

    We have two integrated retail options - SalesVu and Shopify. You can get more information on both of them on our website in the Ecosystem area. The integration points are the same for both, with the exception that SalesVu also offers those same features via their online store, and Shopify is retail only at this point. Neither offering covers a single cart for TNEW + retail offerings at this time.

    The integration piece consists of:

    • Customer record lookup to record purchase history to existing Tessitura accounts and to validate and apply any percentage and specific dollar amount discounts that customer is eligible for.

    • Tessitura gift certificate validation and redemption

    • POS purchase history data passed and housed in Tessitura for transactions initiated with Shopify

    The customer record lookup and gift certification validation are both performed via API calls from the POS to Tessitura to allow for immediate access to customer benefits and gift certification redemption. The purchase history will be added to Tessitura at the time the order is completed on the POS system via the API and will display in a custom screen within Tessitura. 

    Since the integration points are similar, we recommend that you research each POS offering and see which one fits best with your organization!
