Volunteer tracking in Tessitura

Former Member
Former Member $organization

I know there are Network Members out there using Tessitura to track volunteers.

There are many different ways to do this.  I would love to talk with you to get a better understanding of how you go about it.

  • We track volunteers using a custom screen and reports that we cribbed from Brian Grundstrom/WNO.

We schedule our Vols in Artifax, "link" them to their corresponding Tessitura constituent with attributes, and do all of the custom reporting in Tess.

  • Hello Cindy,

We track our volunteers through tessitura.  We have a web custom screen that records the information.  We also have web custom report that allows our managers to create the schedules and time slots for our volunteers to sign up for. Also we have a screen that allows the house manager to on mass assign hours to a voluntters.  I am currently working on our volunteer web portal which is tied to our main web site.    The portal will be using the web api.   I am actually presenting on this at the conference in the web magic session.

We also have several custom reports for reporting on the hours, the performances and the different activity that were volunteered.  We also have another custom report that can be used to create lists of volunteers, and then email them from the same report.

    Regards,
    Jon

  • Hi Cindy,

We also use a custom screen which is a hybrid of a couple different ones that have been provided to us including the one that you have used in the past as an example.
