Has anyone alter the Fields in the Custom Data tab? I'd like to get a new field or even just alter an old field and get it into the acknowledgment report.

Funny you should ask this Marie seeing as I just tried to do just that. It is no problem to add additional fields but beware of altering one that was already being used. The only safe thing I found I could do to repurpose one was to change the name. I would not move the field order (custom_Id) around. When you change the Custom_ID of a pre-existing order keyword the old data still exists in the table but you can no longer see it on the order records. You must also be careful you are using the same data type if you repurpose one of them. I had a ticket on this exact question and was told consulting could help me but that would incur a cost. To repurpose one of ours, we changed the name and then marked the old items in T_KWCODED_VALUES the Keyword was attached to with a small x to make them sort to the bottom of the list and then created our new items without that x so they would sort to the top. I also do not see a way to inactivate any items in T_KWCODED_VALUES so when using the x to make them sort to the bottom we know that means inactive for us. I highly recommend to TEST if you are making any changes to existing fields before making those same changes in Live. The good news is when I put those I changed back to the original Custom_Id the old data showed back up in the orders.
