Is there a way to move money from ticket donations (that have already occurred) out of ticket revenue and make it show up as a contribution/gift on the patrons record?

When you say ticket donations, do you mean tickets "donated for resale"? If yes, we did this too. We went in to the original order where the ticket was "donated", deleted the line item (which we could do because the seat hadn't been resold), and then re-returned the ticket but this time returned without donating for resale. Then added in a contribution on the order that was the value of the tickets returned (so the order balance was 0). We created a new fund just for ticket donations for this purpose so we could keep it separate from other donations.
