I'm sure like many of you, we are looking at alternate revenue sources and one we've come up with is to create some Netflix-like digital content packages, approx. 3 of them at different price points. Entry level would include a base set of digital content and each package further will include more content and some other perks.
Is anyone currently offering such a product that would be willing to discuss how you've set it up? I'm more concerned with how this appears in Tessitura at this point and not the delivery of the digital content. We've been mulling around a few different options and trying to weigh out the pros and cons. Those options include:
1. Memberships - creating a new member org (big con is that there is no benefit tracking - yet.)
2. Packages
3. Subscriptions (We have never done subscriptions so I have no ideas of pros/cons, other than a con would be that we've never done them.)
4. Pricing Rules

Hi Michele,
This sounds like a great approach to start selling Digital Content. I would think that your approach with Packages would be a great way to sell a "ticket" to each piece of digital content. As you noted, memberships would be an interesting solution, but the benefits related to memberships you might need will not really be in place until Version 16 is released.
