I am trying to find a way to remove people from the default admin group, and I cannot find a way to do it because there is no edit button:
How do I accomplish this? Please advise.

That's managed in Tessitura Security under the Dashboard Role security object:

Once they're User Groups are updated, they'll be removed from that group.

I also notice that some users have the role of Admin in Analytics, and according to this documentation,

it said that an admin role can access Admin tab, and they manage data cubes, configurations, and etc. I don't know how they manage to have it. If I take away the admin role from them, and assign "designer" role, then it would NOT cause any issue on their end other than the fact that they won't see the Admin tab anymore right?
Could you please advise?

Correct. They are granted that access by the Tessitura Security Application configuration for their User Groups. Tessitura Security handles all data and role level security in Tessitura Analytics. The link you've referenced above doesn't have any visibility into Tessitura and Tessitura Analytics Single Sign On features and functionality, so focusing on Tessitura documentation will provide a more accurate and relevant view into the behavior of the application.
