Happy Quarantine! (Or something to that effect)
We are RAMP users and thus use Citrix to access Tessitura. As has been happening for a long time, we get the pop-up that asks whether or not we "permit use" to our local files from Tessitura. I get asked about that once every so often, but while we were in the office, it was never a big deal. I would tell the user to log out and be sure to click "permit use" when logging back in. Well, now that we are out of the office and people are using their laptops with VPN, the question seems to be coming up more frequently. Windows 10, Tessitura Version 15.1.7 and the latest version of Citrix Reciever, though I doubt any of that changes anything here.
So I was wondering what sort of global setting changes might be made to our machines and found this: https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX133565
Firstly, are we the only ones with this issue? And secondly, assuming not, has anyone tried something like this before, and what success have they had with it?

I am asked this every time I launch an app through Citrix - whether that's Tessitura, Security, SSMS, or something else. It's hardly noticeable to me after several years on RAMP, but for a lot of people it hits different while logging in on a personal computer. I hadn't put much thought into addressing it like this, though!
Well, if you can get it to work, let me know. I can follow the directions just fine and make all the registry updates, but when that is done, Tessitura (or any of the other applications) will not open. I think it might have to do with the caveat it mentioned about Chrome and Windows 10, but I still could not get it to work even trying those things. Nor did Firefox work, and those are the two browsers our staff use.
But I would love to find a solution for this that works. My users would appreciate it as well.
