Hello,
Has anyone on RAMP been able to get the Windcave EMV chip readers to work while the workstation is connected to a mifi device such as a 4g Verizon Jetpack?
We got a Verizon Jetpack with a static IP address and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the Tessitura to talk to the chip reader.
I sent Tessitura the mifi's IP address for whitelisting but I need help on setting up the system table (TR_Machine). I don't know if I need to set up a new card reader host or if that will get cleared once Tessitura Whitelists the IP address for the Verizon Jetpack.
If someone has done this already and can offer some help that would be amazing.
(I do have a ticket open with Tess but it's always helpful to hear back from people who have already figured this out so I am as prepared as possible. We don't really have an IT team that can help me get this going since I'm trying to get this to work OFF the university network.)
Best,
Stephen
We're currently working on implementing an Internet backup source using a Cradlepoint through Verizon. The Cardreader Host field is where you would input the static IP address of the mifi for the workstation in which you are using. Currently, you're unable to have two rows with the same workstation name - I have a ticket open with RAMP about this.
OK. I just got the Static IP Address confirmed with Verizon. Now I need to give that ip address to Tessitura. I am really confused on how to set up the port forwarding on the device so the Windows Workstation can talk to the chipreader... Do you have any additional advise/tips with setting up the mifi port forwarding?
