I have set up custom data fields in the ticket order windows and now I'm trying to get them to pull as output set elements in a format that will be useful without having to edit an Excel doc every single day before forwarding it on to the event manager. These custom fields are currently being used for two events and I only want one row for each event (as applicable) for each constituent -- not one row for every every event they have registered for -- and I would like the name of the event to show up. I got the output set elements set up, but the results aren't giving me what I need. Kevin Sheehan at the network said the following in the MZATUG group: "To accomplish your goal, you are going to need a new view of the ticket history data that includes performance name, custom order fields, and any other order data you might want to combine with those fields in your output and filtering. You would then create a new output element group that references that view, new output elements you put in that group for the different pieces of data you want to return from the view, and filters assigned to that group to limit the data you get returned." He suggested I post here and that someone might have already written code for this that they would be willing to share. I'm in the early stages of learning SQL so I'm afraid this is a bit beyond my current capabilities. Has anyone set this up? Just thought I'd check here before putting in a consulting request.
