We've been on Tessitura for 5 years now and I'm just now asking this question (don't judge me). After I pull a list in list manager, how come I can't see the criteria anymore nor generate it again? Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't.
Thank you for your time and your expertise.
Best,Jason Nicholson
If it's a manual list (import) you won't or if you go and edit the SQL you won't be able to use the visual editor. Other than that I'm always able to open and edit the criteria. Then again I'm a sys admin so I can edit anybodies list
You're just showing off Heath. ;-) But, you nailed it! The "Manual" is checked on all the ones that I can't edit. So...how/when did those get checked if I never touch that when I'm pulling list (at least I think I'm not pushing that manual button on purpose). Thank you Heath for your guidance and wisdom. Much appreciated.
These tend to get checked when you import a list into a tessitura source like Tessitura Analytics, T-Stats, using the list import utility/report copying lists. Do any of those seem like a thing you might have done?
No. What about importing via Wordfly?
That would likely do the same thing. Any list that goes into Tessitura that was not originally created with the Lists or Extractions Interfaces become "Manual" lists.
I'm not importing into Tessitura. I'm in Wordfly pulling from Tessitura. Will that still cause it?
That should not cause any problem. All dynamic wordfly emails typically use dynamic (non-Manual) lists.
Not clear what is going on. Have you opened up a support ticket?
Thank you for your time. I think I'll open a support ticket to see what is happening.
Best,Jason
I also was showing off at the age of 2 1/2 when I took the handbrake off my dads truck parked on a hillside ... sometimes giving me privileges isn't wise - I like to see what things do.ALSO (this happens for my Mkt team) if you
ie: the Criteria live in the Extraction not the exported List.
Does that help?
