Is there anyway to get the Tessitura training modules into an LMS system? Maybe a SCORM download or something?
I like that there are training's available, but I'd love to be able to include them in our training center that all employees have access to and to be able to assign new Tessitura users those classes from inside our own LMS. I know they can create a Tessitura Network account and do the training's there on the website, but again it's be so much more convenient to be able to assign them the beginner modules from the system they are already using.
Another question, do you use the training modules in your organization? How do you deploy them? We currently use a combination of the modules and our DB admin giving them training as well.
Hi Michael -
Glad to hear the training modules are working out for you and your employees. While I understand that it might seem easier to upload SCORM packages for your LMS, our training content is not set up to be packaged/distributed in that way - both because of the course software and the proprietary content within the course itself. So for now, what Terry mentions - using direct links - is probably the best way to create modules in your own LMS - and then link directly to the individual intro courses (or even specific chapters) from there. While I recognize it doesn't truly transfer progress or quiz results to your LMS, it's still a reusable piece for you to make setup easy - with the bonus that we will continue to update that learning content as new Tessitura versions and new courses are rolled out.
If registering for TessituraNetork.com seems like a barrier for your new hires, is it possible for you to register them yourself? Would that help remove a step for them?
