Can you embed a link in TNEW Custom Form Data table in the Field Label column?
I am trying and it doesn't work.
The link is to go to our main marketing site- not within TNEW purchase path.

We haven't tried putting a link into the label but the additional text column does accept html. could you put the link in that column instead?
Documentation says it should only be used for Contributions. This isn't for a contribution transaction. Unless I am misunderstanding what it says:
Additional Title – An optional field to add a subtitle to the top of a custom data field panel. Only used for custom data fields on Contributions pages.
Additional Text – An optional field to add a message block above the custom data field. Accepts HTML syntax. Only used for custom data fields on Contributions pages.
Which version of TNEW are you on? We're on TNEW 7 which doesn't have the 'only used for contributions bit in the documentation' any longer.
I've just tested on both the label field and additional text fields on our site and I was able to add a link. Are you using the html anchor element to add the link?

I use html in our custom form fields and it works just fine (we are on TNEW 7). If you need any assistance with your html formatting, please feel free to reach out to me mherring@operacolorado.org.
If that doesn't work, I would explore your CSS and see if that is causing any issue with your formatting.
Links using buttons I find a bit problematic but form fields work ok for me in the format ...<form action="">my.sydneydancecompany.com/shop"><input type="submit" value="RETURN TO THE MERCHANDISE PAGE" /> </form>
