Worldpay Hosted Payments

Is anyone Live with Hosted Payment on Worldpay? We are almost finished with our TNEW7 upgrade and will need to be using Hosted Payments before our Season Ticket renewals in February so we can offer Payment Plans, but the Hosted Payments page for Worldpay just doesn't look great....

I know with Windcave you can use custom CSS to make the Hosted Payments page look like your TNEW template branding... does anyone have a workaround for Worldpay? We are not fans of the way is looks out of the box...

Thanks!

Lily

  • Just watched the Cloud Migration update webinar from December 17th, and one of the steps to ready your organization for the migration is to implement these 3rd party hosted payments. Getting a little scared as all migrations must happen prior to December 31st 2020, and I haven't seen any improvements in this space since our go live. Just wanted to share with the group and see if we can get a little more info from the Network hopefully!

Lily, do you have any more info on Windcave Hosted payments yet?

  • Hi Lily and Sydney,

Thanks for your questions about hosted payments as we move toward implementing 3rd party hosted payments across the board.

We have been making improvements in the hosted payment area over the past year and we continue to look for ways to optimize our integrations with our 3 payment partners based on what their products currently support.

As you probably know, earlier in the year we added payment plan support with WindCave and WorldPay, and with WindCave we updated TNEW to utilize their ApplePay integration so that is now a WindCave feature that we support on TNEW.

In our upcoming v7.34 release (which should be live late January), for WorldPay we have moved away from their older payment page and will now use their responsive payment page which is a really big improvement not just in updated design but also in that it adjusts to display based on screen size. So hopefully that will be a great improvement especially for your customers purchasing on mobile devices. WorldPay doesn't offer customizing the fonts or colors on this page, but they are working toward offering a new hosted payment solution that will provide that option. They haven't confirmed timing on that but it is on their roadmap.

For Windcave in 7.34, we will be supporting dynamic payment type filtering for those members who need to offer specific credit cards for specific promotions. Unfortunately, WorldPay does not offer that functionality.

Finally - we are also working on an enhancement to report on web transactions by credit card type when using hosted payments. This will be for all 3 payment providers and it has been something we have been hearing from our community that will be necessary for them once they move to hosted payments.

We know that you may have questions and concerns regarding this transition, so we are planning on sending out an email with links to articles and documentation this month to provide you the information you need including which features are supported by each of the providers and easy "how to" instructions.

Thanks for your feedback! Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hey Sydney!

So we've been in discussions about this for a while. and even though Worldpay is moving towards updating their Hosted Payment page customizing options (sounds like a little faster than I expected, which is good!), we have already decided to make the switch to Windcave. We are in the process of completing the cutover right now, but let's talk about it at our next Austin TUG! We decided the customizable/branded payment page that Windcave can support was worth the hassle of switching. Plus, so far, their customer support has been amazing.
