I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but here goes. After much back and forth, I have finally gotten NSCAN Email alerts based on Constituency set up in our LIVE system. But here's the catch, they are only sending when a ticket is scanned as a ticketed event, not into an access area. We are a museum and we use access areas to know where tickets were purchased (we have three different entry points, sometimes four) and where visitors go once inside. I need these alerts to fire on the scanners at the entry points when scanning into their appropriate special access areas. I've been testing on a dummy event and the email is firing if I scan the ticket as a ticketed event, but not as the special access area. It only seems to fire once per constituent per performance, which is okay. If I scan as an access area first nothing happens. If I change the scanner to ticketed event and then scan again, it fires. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there something I'm missing? Or is this another question for consulting?
Thanks!
Anne
This is four years old, but did you find a solution for this? We're looking to set up something similar and I'm not seeing any documentation on NSCAN alerts for special access areas.
