I need your help (or reassurance). We've been running Tessitura on workstations with Windows 7, and will soon migrate to Windows 10 workstations. We're live on v15.1, and we did not implement Windows authorization.
Is there anything else about going to Windows 10 that could require attention? We are self-hosted. Can we expect to connect to the server and keep on running? It seems like such a basic question, and I really do appreciate any advice. Thank you!
PS I wonder about the Boca printers we use for tickets and receipts, too.
We're self-hosted, running Tessitura 14.1 on many Windows 10 clients currently (moving to Tessitura V15 shortly). Boca printers still behave in exactly the same way.
I think the biggest relevant difference between 7 and 10 as far as Tessitura is concerned was that Windows 10 is more restrictive about unsigned printer drivers, but if you're already on Tessitura V15, you don't have to worry about Sybase DataWindow PS anymore so that's a moot point.
We moved to Windows 10 piecemeal instead of all at once, and IIRC, the only thing that came up repeatedly was the printer thing. So I'd be pretty confident in your shoes, at least about OS compatibility.
