TNEW AuxPkg Precart Firing/Not Firing

Hello All!

I am working on a custom precart page for Auxiliary Packages in our staging instance.  I have the validation point very simply set to be 4 for our Auxiliary Package keyword in the Validate Cart table, with that keyword confirmed in the testing package, and for the procedure to fire and create a custom page which has a form on it for patrons.  That much is rather just generic information.

The interesting thing is that I have tried testing this MANY times now and it has led me to figure out this:

• When I am logged into the TEST instance of TNEW Admin, where we have the TNEW Version 7 preview mode enabled, it fires correctly.
• When I am not logged into the TEST instance of TNEW Admin, thus still showing on our staging website as TNEW Version 6, it does not fire at all.
• Regardless of the above, if I simply run the procedure from the database with the requisite sessionkey and validation point inputs, it always returns what I would expect.

Now, practically speaking, we should be up on TNEW version 7 in LIVE before this becomes relevant, but A) there is always a chance that we might not be and B) to me this is such a "standard" precart functionality that I am slightly worried that something else might be going on here of which I am unaware.  Especially given that as far as I know this particular functionality is not really changing between these two versions of TNEW.
