Hi all - I am in the process of testing an upgrade from v15 (15.0.4) to v15.1 (15.1.1) and am working on the Analytics upgrade. The v15 to v15.1 upgrade documentation states the following:
"When upgrading Tessitura Analytics, TIMwill verify your current version and only update the Analytics Web Application andAnalytics Cube Server if the Sisense version has changed."
From what I can tell, both v15 and v15.1 use SiSense 7.1.3.10025; however, when I upgraded Analytics Web Application, it took 23 minutes - most of that time was the SiSense installer. My assessment is it reinstalled the SiSense web application, which is contrary to what the upgrade documentation states.
Is this expected behavior? Or is it an indication that something went wrong (or I did something wrong)?

Expected. It’s a quirk if the process that we have to write our own version files to compare to in order to then skip the Sisense bit. The file didn’t exist when you ran the installer and was created during this step. That may be the case for the cube side as well this time around as it uses it’s own copy of a version file. For subsequent service packs you may install, it’ll skip the Sisense portion of those steps because the version files will then exist.
