Does anyone have organizational guidelines for merging records and householding individuals they'd be willing or able to share? We're undergoing a merge overhaul and want to write out specific guidelines for everyone to follow when they merge or create households.

I don't have our merging guidelines written down, but I do have a Household Operations doc I'd be willing to share. It details how to create households, divide households, and swapping A1/A2.

We are implementing Tessitura at the moment at the Wheeler Centre in Melbourne and need to do a massive merge of records and household individuals so would really appreciate it if you can please share your Household Operations doc as well? My email is emily.harms@wheelercentre.com.

There have been several other threads about merging records (perhaps look at the list of "Related" strings that shows up on the right side of the page - at least that's where it is on my computer). You'll find several people who have shared their procedures there (I found a lot of info from those as I was starting to work on merges!)...hope that helps you as well as the replies you're getting here.
