Since the untimely loss of our Network Administrator, we have yet to do a version upgrade to Tessitura. We're currently on version 14.1.3 and want to upgrade to the latest version of 15 on our test server at the end of this month. This will be the first time I've ever done an upgrade myself, so I admit it to be more than a little daunting. I've never seen or used TIM and have no idea how long the upgrade will even take.
Can anyone point me in the direction of some helpful documentation of this process for a newbie? Anything I should be aware of? Any considerations to keep in mind so I don't find something critical to the process on the day I try to implement the upgrade? I'd greatly appreciate any advice.
Thanks in advance as always, Tessiturians.
Are you a RAMP client or self-hosted? Are you working with WF or P2?
If you are self-hosted, don't be afraid to ask TASK for assistance.
Hi Matt,
I highly recommend working with Tessitura Consulting if you can swing it in your organization budget. They have been an amazing help to me and can certainly help you set TIM up exactly as you need.
If you are using the same servers in test for this upgrade, you can import the config settings that were used in the prior test upgrade into the new version of TIM. For the most part you would just need to enter the Analytics info for BI and the Processing server info.
