Hi I built a custom order field that appears to working fine except when I try to build a list based on the field. In List Manager, I am able to select the custom field as a criteria element and select the values I want, but when I try to save the list I get the error message "Provided list does not have criteria". I only get this message when the custom element is the only piece of criteria, if I add another criterion (or write it in SQL in the show query view) the list saves fine.Has anyone else encountered this?ThanksJess LevySan Francisco Opera415-577-4003
What version of Tessitura are you on? I had this problem late last year with custom plan elements, and I believe there was a recognized bug at the time with custom elements and list manager criteria. I solved it for the time being by building a separate new list manager criteria.
I just tested again and now the list saves with the added criteria but it ignores the custom field....
Yes, that's exactly the bug. I don't know if it's been resolved yet: I'm still using a separate LM criteria element to be able to use our custom plan elements.
Thanks for the info!
During V15 Testing, we found a similar thing with Custom Order Fields. You can record them when you enter an order. However, they don't work with the New Output sets. I believe that at least part of these issues are on or should be on the known defect list. I don't know which version of the software will fix this.
Here is what I was told.
"This sounds similar to known issue #133219 - Custom elements for Contributions, Orders, and Plans are available as criteria in List Builder, but are not picked up by the query builder and thus do not return any results."
The Suggestion was:
"If possible, please try and create an Extraction with the selected custom data and let me know if it returns results as that is the current workaround."
