I am working on a testing checklist for our v15.0 upgrade and I'm not totally sure what all we should be testing to make sure Analytics is up and running 100% properly. Does anyone out there have a v15.0 or 15.1 test plan with Analytics-specific items? Thanks in advance!
When we upgrade. We declare that the system should work as well as the prior version. (So in our last case 15.0 had to work as good as 12.5.1) . So T-New needed to work. It in fact was business critical. We then did the upgrade.
Then we prioritize working out the new features after the upgrade. So our test was primarily that Tessitura Analytics was up and running. We have given no-one access to Tessitura Analytics other than administrators.
After the upgrade is finished, and when we have a moment to schedule a project to work on it. We will test Tessitura Analytics, train teams and deploy. Likely deployments will be done elastic cube. (So likely three projects, ticketing, fundraising (Membership, Contributions), finance.
This approach allows us to work fairly fast on upgrades, and not get too bogged down in new stuff. Then the next time we do an upgrade the team will be way more familiar with Tessitura Analytics, and building upgrade testing will be fairly straight forward.

This is exactly what we did as well. We upgraded and are now slowing bringing Analytics to life.
