Exporting from Tessitura directly to a Google Drive?

Hi all,

My org is switching from storing files on an internal server to using cloud storage exclusively (Google Drive). I'm curious if anyone out there has figured out a way to export a file from Tessitura straight to a Google Drive, using Google Drive File Stream or a similar program. We run Tessitura using RAMP/Citrix, so I'm not positive this is something we can do, but I'd be interested to hear anyone's thoughts about the best ways to make cloud storage work seamlessly with Tessitura.

Thanks,

  • I've not had a need to do what you are saying.

However, your post got me thinking... When you say directly what do you mean?

    • Do you want to be able to save a report from Citrix to Google Drive?
      • In that case, you might want to look at Google Drive drive stream or backup-and-sync.  (I've not done this.)  But it is my understanding that this tool allows you to sync a local folder on your local computer to Google Drive.  In this case when you save to the local folder it is synced with your Google Drive Storage.
    • If you are trying to get the report server to send you files.
      • You could use something like Zapier to create a rule that would take the attached files from certain emails and automatically save them into certain files on Google Drive.
    • There are third-party products that would allow you to mount/map a google drive account as a local drive.
