We are trying to upload a different sound file than what is available on the Nscan app, there are 4-5 files set as default but we would like to add our own. Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this?
Thank you very much,
Noé Dario Bustamante
Noé-
It's been a while since someone asked this, but if memory serves, the correct answer is that N-Scan will only allow the user to select and use .wav files that are NAMED the same as the default sounds on the device, but you can substitute new .wav files that make different sounds for those files. So for example, you can upload a new 'laser.wav" file with a different sound. You would choose the same option in the scanner settings, and it would then play your new sound file.
To the best of my knowledge, however, it is not possible to change the "bad scan" sound.

Good day Jonathan-
Thank you for your reply, where would we substitute the .wav files? Is there a specific folder location on the device? We use the TC20. The bad sound is fine as is, just the initial laser scan during a successful scan is not loud enough per our ushers.
Thank you for your assistance
