We are on TNEW V6; but will be going on V7.
On the registration page on the purchase path in TNEW there is a phone field, which is tied to Phone 1. How are organizations that use TNEW collecting cell phone numbers from online sales (new records)?
In addition, if you are using SMS, how are you identifying Cell Phone numbers? There is a cell phone type, but that criteria isn't always possible to output on a list easily. (Phone 1, 2 and fax output easily).
Is anyone using Contact Purposes or Permissions for cell phones and/or SMS?

Maybe not helpful, but: we probably have a "Cell Phone" phone type somewhere, but we don't try to flag whether or not a phone is cell or landline (or Skype, or whatever), we just try to manage them based on business use.
