Scan Click Error with strong wi-fi signal

We have 6 Zebra TC51 scanners that intermittently have issues with a Scan Click Error that causes the screen to freeze. The error can then only be cleared by rebooting the device. It doesn't seem to be connected with a specific scanner or user. I have stayed to monitor the wifi signal during seating for multiple shows, and the wifi signal was strong and consistent even as the errors were presenting. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me as the Scan Click Error should be designated to indicate an interruption in the connection, according to the docs. Each scanner is on a static IP so traffic on the guest network shouldn't matter. It's so intermittent that I have not been able to catch a pattern yet, but frequent enough that the ushers now scan in offline mode only and upload the performance data later. This is not ideal since the house manager can't use the monitoring functionalities on offline scans.

Has anyone else seen this scenario or similar?
