If anyone uses protected records, could you tell me about the ticketing process? If you're selling a ticket to a class for a child, would you sell directly to the child's protected record and link it to another constituent (maybe the guardian who purchased it), or do you sell to a separate constituent record then link the protected record to the sale?
We currently don't have any children in our system as constituents, and we're looking into implementing protected records. Has anyone gone through this change recently?

We don't use protected records, but we do not sell to the child account - always to the household and place the child as the recipient.
We have a consortium wide Constituency KID for all child records so it can be used as a suppression as needed
