If you are referring to RAMP as cloud hosted... I have wanted to connect between my local computer and the Tessitura dataBase for some time. I know of no way to do this because of firewalls in place due to PCI requirements. What is your use case for this access. I want to do this for a number of self service busisness analytics and to connect to things like R, Knime, dataiku dss, python, power bi.

I would use soap API to start and make a local procedure call using vba excel. I never tried it via rest, but I am assuming you can find information on it via the google box.
